We found a treasure of a hike in the middle of Gadsden, AL behind the mall of all places. This was a nice quiet walk with much wildlife to see. We walked on boardwalks over marshes and lowlands, and then we walked out to an island that had obviously been completely submerged during the recent floods this year. The rest of the walk was mostly an improved trail on gravel with beautiful views and mostly seclusion with the exception of a few other lucky hikers. This was a great 2.9 mile hike.
